APBA

APBA Football and Baseball is a board game put out by APBA board games which features very accurate statistics based gaming.

Back in 1979 and 1980 my brother and I along with a few friends played out the 1978 Oakland Raider season to see how accurate it would come out. I'll have the complete results posted as soon as I find them, however the final record was identical and points scored, points allowed, and most other statistics were within 5% of the real life stats. There were a few exceptions. We played one running back (Hart) too many times and his total yards ended up 400 more than it should have been.

Baseball is very fun and very statistics based like baseball really is.
